An Outright Gift of Cash is the easiest gift to make. To qualify for a federal income tax charitable deduction for this calendar year, just make your check payable to College Settlement and mail it on or before December 31st.

A gift in honor or memory is a special way to acknowledge and remember the important people in our lives. When a Memorial or Honor gift is received by College Settlement, a letter is sent to the donor to acknowledge the gift, as well as to any persons that the donor indicates should receive acknowledgment of the gift.

A matching gift increases the value of your gift at no additional cost to you, allowing you to double or triple the impact of your gift. Your employer may do this for you.  

Gifts of Securities | While gifts of cash are simple to make and fully deductible, gifts of securities are frequently the most advantageous donation from a tax perspective. Gifts of long-term, appreciated securities are fully deductible up to a maximum of 30% of your adjusted gross income.

Through your United Way designation | Our giving number is 00027. Designated giving forms are available from the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey at 215-665-2500 or from your company’s Employee Campaign Chair. If you are outside of the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey just use 600 Witmer Road Horsham PA 19044 and College Settlement.
