A safe space for your child to spend the school day

Academic Engagement Camp at College Settlement — socially-distanced school-time workspace with fun and interactive Recess, Lunch and Brain Breaks.

During this unusual and difficult time, we are offering a safe, monitored place for children to do their schoolwork, with social distancing and sanitation as a foremost concern—allowing parents to go to their jobs secure that their school-children are taken care of.

We will enable students to review and learn their school district’s curriculum through using the Internet, while providing opportunities for socially distanced engagement with peers, personal exploration, and interactions with nature.

First Marking Period
Mid-September to mid-November

The Summer was Alive With Daily YouTube Videos…

For 8 weeks this summer, we posted 2 new videos each day!

Summer Camp Online featured daily videos about gardening, camp songs, arts and crafts, healthy nutrition, guest videos by our international counselors, and more. And on Fridays, the kids joined in on campfire chats via Zoom. Registrants received materials by mail to accompany some of the videos… it was an online summer of fun!

Counselors and alumni from around the world raise funds by walking, running and biking…

A large group of our international camp staff and alumni have taken off on a huge 10,000+ kilometer fundraiser on behalf of College Settlement!

Collectively, the group will bike/run/walk the distance from Edinburgh in Scotland to College Settlement in Horsham—and back. They have a team of over 50 people, and the number of participants is still growing.
