Dr. Monica J. Taylor, Ed.D. Assistant Superintendent of the Hatboro-Horsham School District
A very highly-valued participant in our Outdoor School Program, Dr. Taylor is also well recognized by others, receiving many awards for her impact on youth.

College Settlement Corporate Good Citizen Award

Comcast Cable Communication, Inc.
Represented by Janet Steiner, Manager of Government Affairs, for their 6 years of volunteering at Clean Up Day and providing grants as well as supplies to College Settlement through their Comcast Cares initiative.

College Settlement Dave DeRosa Outdoor School Award

Craig Newberger, Germantown Academy
A science teacher who has brought 5th grade classes to the Outdoor School since 1986, Craig is much loved both at his school and by our staff, and was himself a camp staffer in Maine for many years.

Summer Camps at College Settlement Award

Jeff Bedford, a former camper, parent of campers and an advocate of our camps in the community
Jeff first came to camp in 1972, at eight years old. He is a volunteer baseball and basketball coach, works at the Emlen School, and is a consistent presence at our Open Houses, where he brings new camper families.
